Anxiety Therapy

General anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, uncontrollable worrying, difficulties sleeping, tension, fatigue, irritability, and avoidance of life-activities can all be signs of anxiety. Some people feel anxiety physically before they notice their thoughts, others notice their thoughts first. No matter how it presents itself, anxiety is often a debilitating experience that can seriously impair your ability to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Social anxiety is what it sounds like - anxiety that shows up when you are in social situations such as in public, at work, at school, or a variety of other situations. It can be related to performance but not always.

Panic attacks often hit seemingly out of the blue! They can be terrifying. It can feel like you can't breathe, you may experience tunnel vision, you may feel dizzy or detached from your body, and you may feel like you have no control over yourself when they hit. Fear of having another panic attack may even prevent you from going out or doing the things you used to enjoy.

Together, we will find where the anxiety is stemming from and what triggers it. By learning to mindfully tune-in to yourself rather than tuning-out, you can learn to understand what is beneath the anxiety and get to the root of the message. I can help you learn to manage and overcome generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias.
